this one is supposed to be a Copper Maran. So I just wanted to double-check and also learn its sex.

Yup! That's a maran. Also a hen.

View attachment 1060882 Any guesses as to breed? Hatched some time early this morning. Has a bit of red in the black around it's face and whitish (light yellow?) tips on it's wings. We're hatching olive egger, easter egger, black copper marans, & barnyard mix from a local breeder.

All that can be known from that picture is that at least one parent had black feathers.
