Hello! I know its only been another 12 days, but I thought I would add progress pictures of my little chicks! They are now almost 5 weeks old, and a lot less brown than I was expecting by this age. This is a front side and top pic of 2 of the chicks. One is more white than the other.
Any guesses on what breed they are would be welcome, but I know I might need to wait a few more weeks to be sure! They are so placid and adorable

Actually, they may be red sex links. If that’s the case, then they’re all pullets.

I notice one of the chicks had a nasty case of pasty butt. Is he ok now?

This trio of chickens followed me to my car after a dusk walk in a state park and then started roosting in some trees. There were no houses close by. I couldn't quite bear to let them become fox food, so now I want to know if they are poor lost pullets or unwanted roos dropped off in the woods.
