Don't laugh, I'm building a run! FINISHED and ATTACHED PG 4!!!!

Why thank you Miss Jayne! What you can't see in the background there is that the door to the run echos the door to the coop. The coop door raises up and is propped up to act as a shade, but when lowered the front of it has the same X and both the coop door X and the run door will be white.

How are you feeling today?

if you put your roosts in the corners, from front corner to a stud in the back off center each, it will super stabilize your run and keep it from wobbling when the weight is on it from the netting you use. also, you could brace them with angled corners. (we do this on our hoop houses in the corners, it works most excellently!!!)

it will max the roost space without making it hard for you to enter and use your floor space. (or hit your head and knock yourself out. that kind of thing. take it from the queen of accidents.)

Yes that's what I thought I would do, but I didn't think about it stabilizing the thing. I was more thinking it would be the best way to keep from getting pooped on.

Ok my mouse went wonky and I had to restart my computer. Thanks for the tips MJ. I will probably cover the whole thing with hardware cloth, and maybe put a tarp on top if I can find one that's not too obnoxious.

Good to know I'm on the right track, even if it is for the wrong reasons LOL!

You've done a fabulous job!

Aww I'm going to get the big head now.. LOL! Actually quite funny to see me out there trying to screw things together without my bifocals (getting old.. ugh). I mean why walk 10 feet into the house to get your other glasses when you can stand there for 5 minutes trying to get the screwdriver into the screw head. Each time.
