Don't laugh, I'm building a run! FINISHED and ATTACHED PG 4!!!!

Look at that door! Neat and square all the way around! Great work.

To Miss Jayne's point - I agree that using the roost would help add support. It also increases the area that the birds can use. I often find the two pullets at the bottom of the pecking order taking a break on the perches.

You are smart to put the roosts in before the hardware cloth. I didn't and it was hard to manuver in there!

Here is what I did:

I AM insane. This run is killing me!! It's taking forever to finish. Yesterday I painted the frame and started the hardware cloth. Today more hardware cloth and painted the door. Soooo tomorrow more hardware cloth (need to go to Lowe's for more I think) and maybe, just maybe I'll be finished with this beast!

More pics tomorrow.

It looks wonderful. You're doing a fine job, IA.

I couldn't have done it as well. Or have any fingers left unharmed. I'm clutzy that way.

Can't wait to see pictures of it done.

Thanks! I think if I knew what I was doing it could be completed in 1/4th of the time. Yesterday I added the roosts. I was so tired and hungry the roosts nearly did me in. I was almost to the point of telling the chickens they could just lay in the dirt. I simply could not get the angle of the cut for some reason.
