The "pedigree" will be the names of the breeders behind the birds, not the names of the parent birds. Most birds don't have names.

It's an honor system and you depend upon the reputation of the breeder.

Also, you are expected to be able to tell the difference between show quality and pet quality so that nobody can trick you.

That makes sense, you have to be careful even with papered dogs and horses or any animal, we once bought a ckc shiztu that turned out to be half beagle

. by the time it grew and changed the kids had already got attached
