Don't Let This Happen To You

I always check my receipts... And usually the cashiers are nice and fix it... But at rite aid one time I purchased some items listed in their ad on sale, used a coupon, and after I paid I checked the prices which were wrong, so I wanted to return the items and the cashier wouldn't let me because she argued that with my coupons I had gotten the sale price so what was my problem. I try to watch prices as they ring up now, before I slide my card even.

My Discover card just adds the "cash back" taken out at Wal-Mart on to the total of the bill, NOT as a cash advance. (so if I spent $100 and got $20 back, it looks like a total $120 charge to Wal-Mart)
I kinda like that, since it doesn't charge any extra interest rate.

Just out of curiosity and a wee bit offtopic but I have a question... (comes from me living in holland and being out of the states for so many years)
I see everyone speaking of credit cards... do you not just use your bank/pinpas to pay for your purchases or is this only possible with a credit card? (here we just use our bankpas to pay for our purchases > no credit cards)
When I was in states I worked in security (administrative) ... this was back in1979/80) > these types of practices and scams make of the majority of theft as opposed to people just walking in off the street and stealing something.
