Yup, now if you want babies...... I believe a rooster is the only way. Although I hear in California they are trying to change that right now.....

I thought it sounded suspicious. Just like the advice you get when having human babies: lots of it and most of it wrong.

I have cochins too They have not started laying yet and they are 26 weeks I have heard they are not very reliable layers. I also have polish Out of 15 hens the same age only one is laying If you want eggs all the time you need to get better layers. You have decorative chickens not layers lol
