Don't tell the wife, I'm growing fodder in the 2nd bathroom!

Like most wives she is probably already perfectly aware of what you are up to. Just waiting it out until the time is right. Beware!!!

Oh, I sense somebody has dealt with a situation like this before with beloved spouse... Am I right? In 31+ years of marriage, I too have heard a number of "You better not...." when I got a great idea or two.

:old But heck, at my age, it's not the things I've done that I regret, it the things I did not do that I regret not trying.

She's a saint that woman for staying with you after that. Take her out for a nice meal anyway.

Good advice, probably soften the blow when I get found out on this growing fodder in the bathroom caper. Show her how much I appreciate her in advance of getting in trouble. I probably need to build up a few extra bonus points to weather that coming storm. Very clever.

BONUS: Our Anniversary is next week - so it's like a two-fer. :love

I think I might be able to work that out. Also, for the record, my wife was a saint just for agreeing to marry me. I definitively got the better end of that deal.

 Are you suggesting I stand up to my wife????

Like, be quiet and make me a sandwich and get me a cold beer while you're at it. And be quick about it because I've had about enough waiting around here. ???

I know what would happen if I did that: :smack  :hit

There, I said with emojis. Hope the message is clear. Thank you for the suggestion, but I'll have to pass on that idea.

Agreed. In my house that would go over with about 6 feet of sand.

After 55 years of marriage this week there are very many things for which I am eternally grateful that I did not try. Sometimes it's best not to risk it. This might be one of those times. Feed them something else that does not smell. Then you have a good chance of keeping the patient wife and all of the chickens.
