Dont they look like they should be laying? - Video

Somebody asked if they have been doing the egg song. Do they do the egg song leading up to the day they first lay, or just when they lay? I've experienced egg song of course, but we have one that we still haven't figured out it's gender, but it's been doing a perfect rendition of egg song for about a week, on and off. Just started out of the blue. Do they actually start doing the song prior to laying?

My BR started laying this week She is 22 wks old, her flock mates, our RIR may alos be laying since I got 2 eggs in one day and they are the only 2 that squat for me. Until today that is, one of our 2 BO's did squat for me this afternoon.
Yours will give you eggs when they're ready, I do think that the heat is affecting them, I know that it is affecting ME Fall is coming soone
