Yesterday was my second miss. Went for a walk in the evening, feel like temp was 100F and super humid here too, but, no excuses, I just didn't get it done.

Do double today.

I took a couple days off due to the heat but managed to get in a walk with the dogs in the timber one night for 30+ minutes and the evening of the 25th we got a 45-60 minute hike in at sunset. Other than that last night I did some mowing for 20 minutes but in all truthfulness, it's been too hot to do any outside exercising during the day with temps in the low 90s, humidity 55% up with heat indexes in the 109 degree region.

Things will be getting better as far as the temps are concerned by the beginning of the week and more conductive to getting out and walking/etc.

Stay safe everyone and keep moving even if it's like me and you are vacuuming the house and sweeping the shop for exercise.

Why? 50 is cold. And dry. How do you breathe without water in the air? Makes my nose hair hurt just thinking about it.

I was wearing a sweater the other day. While I was getting feed this guy and his friend just stared at me for like five minutes, I asked him if there was a law against a girl wearing sweaters in August, they both laughed and one said something along the lines of ditzy blondes getting worse every year. It’s been awhile since I’ve laughed that hard.

I am guilty of wearing many sweaters in Houston. There was a particular fluffy red reindeer sweater I wore all day everyday no matter the time of year.
