In my part of VA, the valley gets snow (real snow) but everywhere else it will snow maybe once a year.

I can't help but laugh when people mention it being too hot outside.
It's so normal to me...my every day.


I'm sure y'all will be laughing at me when I start bitching about it being too cold when it's 50 out.

Y'all just wait till you are almost 70 years old and it'll be different. LOL.

When I was in my 20s even 30s heat didn't bother me. Now it does. Same with cold. Used to go hiking when the snow was ankle deep and the temps were in the teens for the highs. Nope. 3-4 layers just to go take care of the chooks.

I now understand why the oldsters sit outside the businesses with a can of pop and complain about the weather.

I love opening the oven or the dishwasher..getting hit with that glorious wave of heat is probably the only time I’m not shivering.
