My grandmother lives in Ireland and I'm part Irish. Been there once, also went to London, Germany, the Czech republic and mexico. Lived in Bulgaria for a little while. I use American terms but when talking to people from Europe I usually use their terms, I guess it's just super ingrained in my brain.

I know their terms, but I sure as heck don't use them. I prefer to confuse my family and them try to guess what I'm talking about.

Yep, we don't typically eat any sweets here, but whenever we go over there we always end up with a few chocolate things in our cart from Tesco.
