Scratchy lace, thick sweater, collar that choked you and the pinchy shoes that made you wanna punch the designer who created them . Not fair

Don't even get me started on that.
I had to wear corrective shoes and homemade scratchy doily lacy wonky fitting collar choking dresses

Not wool for me but my mom made our nightgowns when we were little. She actually just found the left over fabric she used the other day! She is making my niece a quilt with it

I know it wasn't wool it was thin. Idk what kind of horrible material that was but obviously dryer sheets hadn't been invented or we were too poor to have them.

That's a real deal. It's to correct club foot or pigeon toe. They still use the same methods today just an updated version.
I really did have to sleep in that exact bar as a toddler and wore hard as concrete corrective shoes until about 5th grade.
