There's no way I'm eating it. I posted an ad on CL earlier hoping some yee-haw or yee-yee will volunteer to come trap/hunt it and do whatever they want with the animal after it has been dispatched. I've volunteered unneeded cockerels as bait if they are "safe" in cages. So far I've got one offer to trap it if I pay them $175.

And yes. Waaaaayyyyy too many snakes. I think I went something like four months with no eggs at all unless they were laying them out in the pen instead of the nest boxes. I had a few last year, 4 or five, and haven't seen any....lies I saw one on the road in front of the house and she got acquainted with the rumblestrip and my tire. I see lots of Ribbon Snakes (garters) now. And a few of the Rough Green snakes? whole time I've been here only seen 3 or 4 Copperheads. But I keep the grass super short and everything picked up.

I would love to help if I was close enough. I have the time and materials.
