I think there should be a workout factor applied to riding mower mowing-
0 if it's a typical smooth suburban front lawn
1 if it's a chicken scratched backyard
2 if it's a pasture with ruts hidden by 2-3 feet weeds
3 if it's a pasture with any of this and railroad ties/logs hidden and tree holes with no trees in them.

If you get 2 points you should count it as a workout...LOL
What about a hill with free ranging chickens and an ungodly amount of holes? 😂
 
I use the tractor when I mow the field.
We have no brush hog or mower for our old tractor yet. They are a little scarce here. Neighbor can't even find a riding mower to replace hers that blew a motor. Definitely on our priority list! We only have 4 acres total so it's still ok for me on riding mower but will be better with the tractor.

My allergies will not allow me to be as close to the action as a person gets with a riding mower. I use a push mower or the brush hog.
