don't we all love that humidity on lockdown!...eggs not making it to lockdown...what could be proble

YAY!!!....any success with your hatches gimmie birdies?

i am on day 17 for the first 4....day 18 starts just after midnight (when I actually put the first 4 eggs in the bator because it was a saturday!!)
2 of the 4 in the first batch are no longer growing...i think they stopped at day 10 or shortly thereafter....still lots of space in the egg around the chick. the other 2 are FULL....looks like tight quarters in both eggs!
Going to candle them in a few and wait for the hatcher to get level with humidity before putting them in there.
Temp is at 99-100 for bator and humidity is rock solid at 16 in bator.
Temp is at 99-100 for hatcher (before adding water) and humidity is settling (after adding water)
I know the temp will go back to what it was set at once the humidity levels out.

Batch 1 - set 2/23 - day 18 is 3/12 - 4 eggs
Batch 2 - set 2/28 - day 18 is 3/17 - 4 eggs
Batch 3 - set 3/5 - day 18 is 3/22 - 4 eggs
Batch 4 - will set once batch 1 goes to hatcher.

Just candled the eggs.....
Batch 1
egg A - died by or around day 10 - cull tonight
egg B - promising but not so much....will put in hatcher anyways
egg C - We Got LIFE!!!...saw that baby move!
egg D - died by or around day 10 - cull tonight

so.....should one wait to put the egg in the hatcher once they have 'pipped' the air sac? or put em in anyways?
....I work tomorrow so will be gone until 6pm or so tomorrow night.

So I culled the eggs thought not to be good. One of the two still had a growing birdie in it but it was not as big and not taking up as much space as the other two....it was still alive too...I felt bad but it had been in there same timeframe so it probably had stunted growth for some reason. Got 2 in the hatcher and will see how it goes...

no hint of hatching.....the temp is stable at 99 on wire and 100-101 on top of both eggs. No pip of shell, no rolling, nothing....humidity is a bit fluctuating at 65. once i know it went down to 55 ish.
on day 22 now.....

so, checked them......one was alive for certain before putting in hatcher.....one was unsure.

experimented today....both are dead....

shoulda took pics of the first 'eggtopy'.....(the one that was alive for sure..)

will post pics in a few.....

now pics.....

same egg....it is the egg that was unsure if it was alive before puting into hatcher....

this one had the dry membrane but it looks 'wet' as the camera captured it as such....It also had fluid that was 'movin' around when the egg was turned...it was not the birdie...

the other one had that same membrane but white all over and seemed already dried out....

neither internally pipped......

any clue as to what happened??
