'Bless his heart' that is all I think in the morning when I hear my polish bantam cockeral crow. He is so eecky eecky that I think that he needs more food. So I take treats out.

It is funny to hear but cute and precious. I love my roos.

Well, I am hatching eggs right now but cant keep any of the roosters. Sad, because I really LIKE the sound.(Definitely over barking, cars with no mufflers, people arguing etc.)

I've always liked the sound of my roosters crowing. My husband doesn't even complain about it anymore.....don't know if he's grown to not mind it, or if he's just given up after 35 years!!!!

Oh I love hearing my roo in the morning. I have two little bantams in the house and I love hearing them. Not so sure bout the company I had this weekend LOL But I love them. My Giant cochin doesn't crow yet and he's older than the bantams

Mine start around 5am right now (it changes depending on when sunrise is) and I love to hear them. It's 8:30 now and they are still going at it!
DH and I miss hearing them crow when we are away somewhere.

Ordinarily, if I've had a good night's sleep I don't mind my roosters crowing. Then there's mornings like this morning where the two of them have a crowing contest. Zeus, my alpha roo, would crow and a few seconds later Thor would crow. I kept thinking if Zeus will just shut up, Thor will stop; but they kept it up for over an hour.
We've taken an interest in watching the "silenceyourrooster.com" commercials for a sleep aid. The star rooster set off a car alarm in the latest ad. My SO said if mine start doing that, their life spans are gonna shrink real fast.

There's definately something very wrong with my roosters...

They crow from 2:30 AM right through the evening until dark... then they sleep for about 5 1/2 hours and they're back at it.
