Dosage for Enrofloxacin 100g/l for a pekin duck with bumble foot/wart

whatever that is, i hope it will heal now. There was nothing underneath the scab that looked like a gunky pus kernel. I will change the bandage daily and add drawing salve until it either heals shut, OR the kernel comes to a head or to the surface.

So here the deal, short story...Ted my Pekin Duck got BF. I have been dealing with it since memorial weekend. Soaks every night, then I would put dmso on his foot every other day. Clear iodine on the opposite days since the end of May. My other duck got bf two weeks ago, went to the vet. Got antibiotics for her foot and showed the vet a pic Teds foot. She told me that this should have been clear by now.
The vet gave me 7 ml of manuka honey. Told me to keep doing the soaks and then put the honey on the infection and wrap his foot nightly. I have been doing this for going on three weeks and WOW... what a change in his infection with just this manuka honey. It’s pricey but well worth its weight in gold!
Here is the progress picture. This Thursday I will take another pic.

that looks progressed. Like it has been going on for a while. The infection is deep as the scab shows. My pekin doesn't have it deep. It's just om the surface. Manuka honey is great. I stick with drawing salve. I know it'll get the job done. lol

Well the vet said that it was surface BF as well... we shall see this Saturday when I take him in to the vet to remove it. But I have to say that for less then 3 weeks of treatment with manuka honey, I have made more progress then the last three months with other meds. I'm a firm believer in sticking to what works for you and your flock! You know your feather babies better then anyone else, please keep us updated on your progress:hugs
