No one is better for giving dosing advice than Kathy. With my CRS I have to rely on her a lot.@KsKingBee , @casportpony You two are funny. Love to read your banter!!! But are always my "go-to" for reliable advice.
Yes, I believe you would just double the dosage.Hi y'all, Hope you are still hanging out on backyardchickens. I have some Toltrazuril 2.5 percent, so should I just double the dosage? Thank you!
Ok then for 5% solution what is the individual dosage per lb or kg with a syringeThat stuff is not water-soluble, I suggest giving it orally.
I've been giving 25 mg/kg, 30 with the 5% stuff, that's:Ok then for 5% solution what is the individual dosage per lb or kg with a syringe
The bottle I have is a suspension. It's a thick liquid that has to be shaken really well because the medication settles on the bottom of the bottle. The manufacturer of my bottle says to give it orally, not in water.I have to disagree on Toltrazuril not being water soluble, the instructions on the bottle of 2.5% say to mix 2.0ml per liter of water and give for two days. That is 1.0ml of the 5.0% per liter for two days.
