Dosage?- HELP! Updated question!

Not to worry. It would be best to wait to worm them after they're finished with molt anyway. Molt stresses the birds system, worming them would just add more stress to their system, then possibly causing health issues. No need for that.

Okay, I really need to give the chickens the wormer, now. I have a syringe, but it was used to feed very sick chicks who had cocci. What should I do? I want to put it in their water. The reason I think they have worms is because when one of my hens drinks, she acts like she is eating it or there is a rock in her throat. Please, please help!

So I have a 1.25 ml measuring cup and a 2.5 ml measuring cup. Should I add both together to get 3.75 ml in their water

I just gave them the medicine. I hope they get better! I'm not sure it is gapeworms, but I wanted to treat. They all act healthy and eat and drink, but one hen has a rattlily sounding chest and seems like she has food in her throat when she is drinking. She also hiccups a lot.

Now, after reading more, I'm not so sure they have gape worm. But it can't help to give them the wormer anyway, can it? She has been doing this since winter began. I'm wondering if what the chickens have is something because of the winter air, etc. What could I give them that treats all respiratory ailments?

You could try giving Tylan.

I looked for Tylan today at TSC, but I couldn't find it. The only kind they had was Tylan 50 injection or Tylan 200, so I just got Duramycin. I hope this will work. Also, how long should I wait to give them the Duramycin after the wormer? Thanks.

Tylan is Tylan 50 (tylosin 50mg/ml) and Tylan 200 (tylosin 200mg/ml). Duramycin might work if you mix it correctly and your bird is drinking enough.
