Dosage of Probios in water?

I ordered Probios for my chickens as they cannot seem to stop with diarrhea. The directions only say to give 1/2 tsp per bird, per day. Since I have 9 hens, I would like to put it in their drinking water. Does anyone know how much to use per gallon of water for this many birds?

If it were me, I would put the combined dosages (4 1/2 teaspoons) for the hens into the water.

I agree. I'm starting with 1 tsp per gallon, same amount as the Sav-A-Chick packets.
