Only the babies are see through. As maggots get older the become white. I am almost 100% sure they are maggots.

Hopefully you caught it quick, maggots are nasty! Did you soak her yet? Make sure to soak her is warm soapy (dish soap) water and pick out any left over maggots. You may have to soak her for a few days in a row. I kept my patients with flystrike in a fly proof snake housing set up with ventilation across the top. It was great because I just washed her 2 times and flushed her daily with a hydrogen peroxide mixture three times and then twice a day.

Yes I think they’re maggots too. gross! I bathed her again and a few maggots. When husband comes home we’ll do a close check. I did spray her with Vetericyn. Does the dead skin turn brown? I see a couple of patches of brown skin

BTW she’s staying in our bathroom . She’s perkier today but haven’t seen her eat or drink. Not lethargic anymore so I’m encouraged!

More like brown/black as can be seen in my thread.

No I have antibiotic cream with pain help in it.
