I am going to hatch about 40 eggs on 08/15... so far so good... I threw out a few "weepy" eggs or not fertile eggs... So the bater is full of eggs that have a chance to hatch. Daughter and grandkids coming over to watch....
My next reason? I wanted more RIR crosses and EXACTLY 21 days from that I have a 4 day weekend and holiday from work, I wanted more roosters for the freezer.... I like to see eggs hatch... I like fuzzy butts....
the weather will not be cold in Texas until at least December (if that!)........
(Do I need any more reasons? help me out here!)
