Watching!I have 2 broody hens, Pippin, the experienced mother. And Blue, my helped hatch special girl! Both are in the nest together!
Collecting 3 eggs from the feed store owner soon. She has mostly frizzles and some other breeds.
Yes, they'll hatch together, since they did raise Pippin's chicks together earlier in the year, so I trust them. I'm keeping them with the flock too!

Going to set my Araucana eggs in a few minutes too! One of them is a bit dirty but not too much. And they are BIG! They don't look very green in the pic but Im happy with them. Hoping at least one hatches!Just gave them now.

I hatched chicks out of washed eggs. Nothing happened
I don't think it will harm them. Good luck!
Some of my eggs are covered in mud (from the girls laying them on the ground ) and I just wipe it off with a towel. I have also set washed eggs to see if they would hatch and they did!
