double comb?

For those still interested, I have been trying to research this topic for quite some time. In the 1873 SOP, the Dominique (America's oldest recorded chicken) had the double comb or rose comb as an acceptable comb. It was removed after a few years.

The Dominique is America's oldest recorded breed of chicken that is in the American Standard of Perfection. There are other American breeds of poultry that are older.
