My 8 have been laying for over a couple of months now, and I still get a couple of double yolks each week - on average.

I don't mind though since I have a chocolate chip cookie recipe that calls for one egg + one egg yolk. A single double yolk-er fits the bill perfectly! Come to think of it, I might actually be kind of sad when they grow out of it.

It is just an extra surprise gift for you. I am still getting double yolks out of my pullets. been laying since July and had a lot more than usual double yolkers this year. some rather large eggs for 5-6 month old pullets.

If you sell your eggs you will have to start charging double lol.
