Double egg?!?!?!?!?!

My friend only has one hen. she checks the nest box everyday. She found 2 eggs in there this morning!!!! any idea of what happened? BTW one was odd shaped (it was long and thing) and the other one was very nicely shaped

Not unusual for me, I have 5 hens, I check for eggs every morning. This being Sunday, I checked this morning and got 4, I cleaned out their nest boxes this afternoon about 3:00 pm and got 4 more, that is 8 in a 24 hour period. It is not unusual for me to get 5 per day.
