This anomaly has taken place twice this morning. Upon browsing, my avatar is double vision and locked in a position on the screen of my browser. In this Photograph you can see you can see the avatar locked in a position on the screen which it will flash as I scroll up and down my pages. When I am done scrolling it stops flashing. I am on my tablet currently and I am using the latest Chrome Browser and Android is my operating system.

Does it go away if you log out and clear your browser then sign back in?
Trying to get my wits upon me at the moment..lol. just got done with chores and this blind sided me. It went away with the change of page when I jumped to another thread. I shot a pic with my cell Cam. Browser effected was on my tablet.

This is crazy stuff. So bear with me.. It happens when I click this link in my like alerts:

And when I get to that inserted quote I was linked to, that is when the double avatar starts. It locks into one particular spot on my screen and anchors down and stays put while the page scrolls manually. Funny thing about it is that I can't find it happening on any other thread at the moment. Although I am still investigating.

Ultimately when I am done with my Sherlock Holmes mode, I will delete cookies, data etc. I am slightly amused on how particular this anomaly is.

To experiment I am placing the link out of my alerts to here.
I will see if the anomaly takes place from this link being clicked upon here and not from the pop-up window.

The first attempt to navigate from this link, yes it was there, but only briefly. Not frozen like at the beginning of my report.
The second try, it wasn't there.

This is breaking the monotony out of my daily routine. I have found it very interesting needless to say.
I am about to delete my browser and data files cookies Etc. But before I do that I will share with you my findings.
  • It only happens on that page.
  • It only happens when I scroll down before the page is finished loading.
  • I have visited multi Pages where my avatar is present and scrolled down before the page is finished loading, but it will not take place on any other page except for the linked page above.
  • I am currently led to believe that it is my operating system. Although the anomaly seems to be isolated. BUT my avatar also contains a gif picture that is clashing with software. I don't know if it is my Android operating system or the backyard chickens website. I am about to log out, empty all of my data files, log back in and start the procedure over again.
  • When I come back with a refreshed browser Etc, I will go back and start over and if it does happen again, I will replace my avatar from a flashing GIF photo to a standard jpeg photograph.

:old
Findings:
  • I logged off out of Byc first.
  • I deleted all of my data from the beginning of time.
  • Logged in and when I returned to this thread my avatar was double vision locked in the center of the screen and flashing upon scrolling.
  • I deleted my avatar and it seemed to slay the dragon, so to speak.
So in my findings I am relating this anomaly to my gift Avatar. Although in the past I have had plenty of gifts avatars and never experienced this before this morning.

Also I have learned one other thing. When I logged out, just for the heck of it, I went to see if the Avatar would flash while I was a visitor to the site and not logged in. It was not flashing while I was a visitor but the advertisements were bogging down the page big time.
I have learned being a premium feather member, was a very wise choice on my behalf. ;)
