I agree, try. I always opened the eggs after the duck went off with her new ducklings and was surprised to have found a single duck with double yolk sacs.
It couldn't absorb all the sac and had died in the egg. No show of life at all.
If you can do it, show pics at some point, other then that, allow nature to take its course.
