Double yoke!

Mostly happens in pullets till their reproductive tract gets synchronized.
Commercial store eggs used to yield double yolks years ago before producers started candling eggs for defects.

Yolk - nutrient bearing portion of an egg surrounded by albumen.
Yoke - a wooden crosspiece that is fastened over the necks of two beasts of burden and attached to a cart or plow.

Oops. I guess I spelled it wrong. :bow

Thanks everybody!

I’ve gotten 4 now. 3 from white leghorns, and 1 from an EE. It is exciting
I've gotten 2, each one from one of my rhode islands. None from my leghorn, although she is the most consistent layer. My hens are 18 weeks (19ish in reality, 18 since I bought them) and all are laying consistently. Never thought 4 chickens would bring so much joy and entertainment to my life:lau
