Double yolk eggs

Hi folks, still getting 6 out of 6 and some of them quite big and the bigger ones mostly have double yolks. Has anyone else experienced this? and can you explain why?

I used to get A LOT of double yolkers but only when they were pullets and first started laying. I think when they are young, they don't have the production quite right. I assume these are young pullets?

Yes indeed they are as you described... you could be right there.
