Have a friend that has a white leghorn that lays really large eggs, which have double yolks. So my question is this - as a fertile egg, will it hatch and will there be one or two chicks? Just wondered! Thanks.....Janet

It is possible to incubate it and get two chicks.. but they will have difficulty hatching (often needed assistance) and you may loose one or both chicks in the process.

there is a video on youtube where a lady got a double yolker... you know what ill just post it...

She says both chicks survived and 1 was a rooo and one was a hen
