I can't help but LOL at her name.Azul can hold her own. She's also faster than the rest and often takes off with a bug with all the rest trailing behind her.View attachment 1492862 View attachment 1492863

They all have really boring names because Mom didn't want me naming them weird names(she would have made a great Kung Pao) so Azul the Andalusian Azul(Blue Andalusian), Dottie the Wyandotte, Star the Black Star(Black Sex link), Olive the Olive Egger, Princess the Calico Princess, and the odd one out, Penny the White Leghorn(cause all flocks should have a Penny).I can't help but LOL at her name.

Change Penny's name to Gringa. They all have really boring names because Mom didn't want me naming them weird names(she would have made a great Kung Pao) so Azul the Andalusian Azul(Blue Andalusian), Dottie the Wyandotte, Star the Black Star(Black Sex link), Olive the Olive Egger, Princess the Calico Princess, and the odd one out, Penny the White Leghorn(cause all flocks should have a Penny).
This is my first one and it’s accidental. Now that I’m reading up on it I have seen where people purposely set double yolkers and not make it as far as these two babies. Has anyone else ever set a double yolker out there? Also if these two hatch does anyone have any nice twin names? If they do I wanna make a folder and a thread dedicated to them and my findings. Will they be identical? Will they be the same gender or different? How will they grow? Ect.
This is weird. There is no way to know for sure at this point but could you have just been seeing two parts of the same chick moving differently?I had a double easter egger growing, but the 2nd embryo must have quit and been absorbed or dissolved sometime after day 14, because only one chick came out of the egg! I couldn’t find any obvious remains, but there had definitely been two buddies squirming around in there. It was very perplexing.
