plus I really want one of the BR/EE I always wanted a green egg layer that looks like a BR haha lets face it I want to keep all 14 haha

Congrats! I think this is the first heathy twin hatch that was on here...at least what I have seen anyhow

920otlaw Not a dumb question at all! To answer your question....NO they are just two seperate eggs that happend to become covered in the same shell. 1 of the eggs traveld down the reproductive canal too slow or the other too fast and they both became coverd in 1 shell. Good Question!!!

We just candled ours at 9 days. It's our first hatch and we are still figuring out what we are seeing. It doesn't help that we have all colors of eggs either! The worst are the real blue EE eggs to see through.
The one with the very best view?
a LARGE green egg that I thought belonged to Goldie, our best layer.
After candling, we see TWO moving embryos-- picture book perfect.
uh oh. Guess it was a double yolk.
