Double yolks

One of my chickens (I’m assuming it’s the same one) keeps making double yolk eggs, and it kind of creeps me out.

I broke one open for breakfast and there were 2 perfect yolks and I ended up not using that egg.

Is it ok to eat those?

Yep, perfectly fine! I used to have a chicken that laid them almost every day, but then she got older, and stopped. there isn't anything wrong with them, just two in one!

I don’t know exactly. I’ve never seen that happen but I guess I’ll get used to it!

My 3 x RIRs have been laying for only about 3 weeks. I've been getting 2 eggs every day. 2 have been double yolkers and a lighter colour.
