down the wrong pipe

I gave my chicken tylan 50 orally and it went down the wrong pipe. She is now coughing. What can I do for her?

If she has aspirated it into her lungs there's not much you can do. If it didn't get all the way down to her lungs she may be able to cough it up. When giving anything orally be sure to use a small, needless syringe and direct the meds to back of the throat and well to the side to avoid the airway.
