we got 5 chickens, and three of them ended up being cockerels, leave us with two chickens, a easter egger and a wyendotte. would it be ok to keep them? in the spring we would get more chickens, and they wouldn’t be lonely anymore.

two is more than one.
I am no expert, but it seems alright to me.

It should be ok until spring but then you will need to integrate slowly with the new ones good luck

At least with 2 they still have a companion. It's only an issue if that becomes 1.
