Dowsing Info Any successes or suggestions?

We were trying to find our septic tank in back yard.
We started by dowsing near the house for the main line out to it...
Talk about strange when the rod would turn down!
We became believers that day!

when i do it with a willow, or apple tree limb,, if i find a good source of water,, the stick turns so hard, and i try to make it NOT move,,, it will peel bark off the limb.

i forgot i tried with coat hangers once to find a pipe,,, i think that worked jus as good,,,,, but ya look like ya searching for aliens :| so i use wood

We used old copper welding rod and it worked really well... We had to locate an old water line rather than just dig up the whole yard. Worked perfectly. VERY freaky!!

WriterofWords, there is already an excellent (and free) dowsing manual. It's called Letter to Robin. I've posted before about dowsing eggs before incubating in order to increase the pullet-to-cockerel ratio.
