Dowsing Info Any successes or suggestions?

Okay, I go pick up the sick kid, and y'all got this great thread going! Dousing, pendulum, call it what you will, it's the real deal...
The Chinese birth chart was wrong, but the pendulum insisted I was having a girl.. and it was right! Besides, my best friend used L-rods on me during a demo at a craft fair-- when she thought of me, the rods "embraced" me (met and crossed); when she thought of someone she didn't care for too much, the rods swung apart. Cool stuff Writer, glad you shared this with everyone here, and thanks for the great links, too.

I sent out 10 packets on Saturday. A couple have let me know they got them already. If you don't get yours and you PMd me your address, let me know after about 2 weeks I guess. I'll give the holiday mail an excuse for holding them up. Sorry I didn't get them out earlier. I had a bunch I had to send on Ebay and the postage was adding up quickly. Enjoy them!

It works! Just remember to hold the dowsing branch with your palms facing up. Otherwise you grip it too firmly and it wonʻt point. I found my "hot spot" and then walked at it from every direction on the compass. Each time I crossed the marked spot, the branch pulled itself downwards. Spooky, but we found water at 35ʻ instead of the usual 110ʻ my neighborsʻ well were at. They say that a forked willow branch works best and to plant it nearby for luck. I did and it worked out for me.

Writer, have you read the book Water Witches by Chris Bohjalian? I highly recommend it! It's a fiction book written by a local VT writer that I've always enjoyed reading. It got me really interested in dowsing. I would imagine someone who is already into dowsing would love the story (or hate it maybe, who knows!) Anyway to you or anyone else who finds the topic of dowsing to be fascinating, I recommend you get your hands on a copy of Water Witches by Chris Bohjalian, it's a great story!

Hi there, I was just wondering if out of the 15 packets I sent out if anyone had tried it, succeeded, or might have suggestions for me concerning it? I've been asked about doing a class here when the weather warms up a bit and I'm considering it.
