Dowsing Info Any successes or suggestions?

We doused for our well too! The driller said there wouldn't be any water where we said and boy wasn't he shocked!!!!

Lots of water moving very fast!!


I tried to keep the rod from moving and it put blisters on my fingers pulling down!

They say the water table is about 3000 ( yes 3000) feet deep in our area and we don't know anyone within 30 miles who has a well. An old timer who has since died said there are some places around where the water table is not that deep. We used copper L rods and found 2 spots that crossed (showed water) My question is can you tell how deep?

That is where the questioning comes in. You have to word the question you are asking properly. For instance if you just ask Is there water? It might indicate yes, but that doesn't mean it's potable, or within drilling distance. You can ask Is the water less than 3000 feet? Less than 2000 feet? etc.

My DH is a "water witch" has been doing it since he was a teen. He too says it is a gift from God, when DH started dowsing his daddy bought a well driller, DH found the water and his dad would drill em'. Now they deliver water to folks

Now that is just too cool!! I love it, a family dowsing business! My son is better than me too, he still has the open mind of a child, almost 17 child that is.

That would be fun. We were going to do it in class but since we have no electricity after hours we can't hatch.
