Doxycycline 50mg/ml Dosage for Chicken

Hello, my vet prescribed "Doxycycline 50mg/ml" for my rooster with suspected MG. I was told to give him 1.5ml in a syringe of the Doxycycline orally twice a day for 14 days. I was wondering if this is too much for him? The vet is just a general exotic vet and I just want to be sure I'm not going to kill or hurt my boy.
He is 7 months old and his weight is 3.15 (I think lbs but it could be kg)
Anyone with knowledge regarding this?

I just weighed him myself on a food scale and he's 6 lbs 15 oz so I'm pretty sure they were going by kg. Not sure if this helps lol

So it would be 1.5ml orally of Doxycycline 50mg/ml for my boy who's 3.15 kg

They explained it to me twice (the vet himself and the nurse afterwards) to fill the syringe to the 1.5 ml mark so I'm pretty sure they are going to tell me the same thing lol. I'm just paranoid that they don't really know the correct dosage for chickens which is why I wanted a second opinion. But I will call them tomorrow anyways to make sure

If they went over the dosing in detail with you, then it should be fine.
Vet's *should* have access to better formulary and dosing info than backyard keepers do.
