Drake after my 4 week old ducklings

so I lost one of my adult hens this morning. I put it in with the other adult hen and the 2 adult drakes. I have still kept the 8 week old ducklings separated. I am not sure what happened but she had cuts to her head and possibly her neck. I am assuming she got her neck caught in the fence...maybe the drake was after her and he wouldn't leave her alone? Not sure... very sad.

No I haven't and I don't plan on it until they are 4 months old.

Yes the one that died last night was raised with the other hen and 2 drakes and were all the same age. These were my adult ducks that I had penned together at night and the ducklings were in a separate coop.

That's a shame. Did you find her stuck in the fence?

Maybe consider putting the other hen in with the ducklings? You don't want to lose her if it is frisky drakes.

No that was what was weird she was laying next to it but not stuck in it.

Yes I moved the other hen in with the ducklings. I am going to keep them separate unless I am there to supervise the drakes with her.
