Drake being bullied

I tried to catch him as Stormy was chasing him and (I am humanizing again) the look in his little eyes made me tear up a bit. It was like he was contemplating going to this giant that brings food and controls the enter/exit to get a break from the constant bullying or just suffer it out because he doesn't want to leave his flock no matter what and still isn't quite sure about his giant just yet. My heart strings have been seriously tugged! :hit

It can be heart breaking I went through this with 4 Muscovy drakes for quite a few years they could never be together and I had to separate their half acre into plots to keep them separated it wasn’t enjoyable and finally I realized it. I was able to rehome my 2 youngest drakes to different homes. Which made it so much better my oldest drake had passed away so that left me with just the one drake he will be 9 this coming June. I felt awf having to rehome. I hatched them and felt it was like abandoning them, thankfully they went to good homes. I have heard great things about CWFR I think they would be an awesome place if they will take them.

Thank you @Miss Lydia I really appreciate your time and advice. I will definitely call CWFR in the morning. Hopefully Reggie can tolerate the bullying until I figure out what to do. Thankfully I am not working tomorrow, so this is my top priority. I'm so sorry to hear you had to go through this for so long. Thank you again, for everything

I spoke with CWR and they're unable to take them. When I first started talking with them, I was hoping to take all 4 drakes to them. After many tears, spending a lot of time just watching them, and experimenting with grouping certain ones, I believe that my best option is to find a home for Stormy (Cayuga) who is the main bully and the one that always starts with aggression and his buddy India (Mallard) who usually goes along with whatever Stormy does. Stormy and India have been together since hatch and they seem to worry if the other isn't in sight

On a much lighter note, I was just out with the ducks in their duck house and I just found a large very light greenish egg! I'm guessing my layer is my Buff duck? @Miss Lydia does this sound like a Buff duck egg? Oh my goodness I am shocked at the size! Wow! My very first duck egg in all of this sadness and heartbreak, this is exactly what I needed <3

This is a mean boy. He even looks mad. He is a biter now. Of course it's his hormones raging, but the other drakes don't bite like he does
