I love my ducks

It looks like their adult colors haven't come in yet. I'd wait a while longer to see what they are going to look like as adults. I like the big boy, but that's just my preference.

The coloring on the little guy is better. The STATURE on that big guy is awesome. If his colors come in well, he will be quite the hunky stud.

Yes thats why i chose to keep him i figure if his colors are that pretty now he will be a gorgeous adult.

Yes big guy is quite the man he is going to to be a big one indeed.

Are you sure you didn't cross your Cayugas with black Indian Runners?

Cayugas are a dual purpose breed, therefore, should be a bit on the big side. They should be more along the lines of your big boy, but if you aren't going to show them though, go ahead and keep your favorite. I -personally- would keep them both to see how they fleshed out and to see if his colors came in. My females were very fat and chunky. Hehe!

I miss my Cayugas now. Lol

In all of the pictures of the breed they look more heavy, but if you aren't showing or selling for show, then it's your pick. I can see why you like the smaller guy

very handsome...
do you want to decide right now? otherwise wait until they are more developed, then decide...
are they white calls? most of mine are in the dinosaur phase...not pretty

My Cayugas came from TSC who got them from Privett so they are not mixed.
I had about 4 that did the stand up strait thing but they are not doing it anymore.
They still have alot of growing and filling out to do and should become bigger.
The females are getting chunky and waddleing as they walk it's cute.

My decision was based on haveing the 7 and the males had begun to do a little neck fighting.
I wanted to get them separated and use to the ones they would be with permanently before they started breeding.
I actually was planning on selling their eggs or hatching some babys and selling those.
It's all kind of up in the air right now i'm just loveing them as pets

My Calls are white and just getting their feathers.
