Hope I'm posting to the right place. Anyone know if this could be a drake feather on my one month old duck? Or is it to early to know? It's been staying in place for a solid week now.

Drakes will usually get their curled feather much later than one month, most people saying around four to six months.

At that age, it's most likely just feathers that came in a bit wonky... happens in juveniles, especially ones that like to sit with their butts agains the side of theier brooder, lol... without vent sexing the earliest way to tell gender in mallard derived duck breeds is when their voices change, which happens anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks old... females will quack fully and loud while drakes voices tend to drop to a raspy whaaap-whaaap-whaaap sound...
