Drake laying down?

Heyall!

We got a sprinkling of snow here and I noticed that for the previous snowfalls my ducks laid down in it.
I figured this was normal, but now that the snow has melted, I still see my drake laying down. This isn't like Skippy and I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this type of behavior before.
I know it is extremely cold here with temperatures in the teens at night. The duck and chicken water keeps freezing, haha!
Planning on investing in some water heaters.... any advice on that as well?

About half my flock hit the deck when I let them out this morning in the 10F air. Yowza, it is cold.

They are trying to get their little feets up off the ground.

I bought my heated waterers at TSC haven't had any problems with them at all and they are 3-4 yrs old. also bought my heated dog bowls at local feed store. sure makes watering and feeding easier. and My ducks lay down alot when it's very cold out especially my gander. they have to keep those piggies warm.
