Nice. And yes, I'm still learning every day! The folks on here are a fantastic resource, and I've learned a lot since joining.

I only started with ducks last year, and honestly only really got into them starting this year, when I got some extra Muscovy after finding out my drake was sterile (purebred, just... old I think). I only had some issues with drakes later on, when I got some rescues, and drake jail was implemented. Slowly getting my ratio to something more manageable.

You are very lucky that hubby can bring one with him if need be! Drakes can be so hard to place!

I had to rehome my Khaki Campbell drake because he was so hard on all of my hens. I ended up with too many drakes that were all big ones so I actually traded for some small Call Drakes and a couple of more Hens so hopefully it will work out in the Spring better for me. I would for sure keep the drakes that are fighting separated. I just now let my Drake out of jail and he is behaving himself but it has gotten cooler here in Ohio and that seems like that has helped.
