Drakes Not Mating - Help!

So my two boys are just not interested this year! They've been on their own but we acquired two females about 6-8 months ago and they've settled in well. Normally they're humping slippers and nipping legs... but get them some tail and not a sausage!!

Any advice? We are on the South Coast of the UK and one of the girls has diligently sat on a brood with only five days until she thinks her babies will start hatching but I've candled them several times and they're all infertile!

Call ducks. One is 1 year old and one is 6. They're still in last years eclipse although there's a slight green tinge to their heads coming through now.

My shock really is that normally all of our drakes are unstoppable, anything the right height or size is game! The females have been bobbing their heads and flattening themselves out on their water but no interest from the boys!

My Drakes won't breed during eclipse. I love eclipse because they don't fight either.

It's when Drakes molt from nuptial feathers into eclipse and they look like Hens for a few months. During this time my Drakes don't breed or act aggressive towards each other.

My Leonard is in eclipse stage right now but he is still mating. A couple of weeks ago he was being aggressive but has since calmed down. How long does the eclipse phase last? I noticed he also lost his big curl feather.

Mine goes into eclipse every July and lasts till December. Once he gets his Drake curl back I know it's time to keep him separated from my other Drake.
