Drakes Not Mating - Help!

Mine goes into eclipse every July and lasts till December. Once he gets his Drake curl back I know it's time to keep him separated from my other Drake.
Ok so it is normal for them to lose the curl feather? I had no idea. Thank you for the information. I was wondering what the heck was going on with him.

You know this week I have noticed that they all seem more happy. I just assumed it was the warmer weather. Maybe he is just chilling and the ladies are enjoying a little bit of a break. All of my ducks just turned a year old so I am still figuring them out.

Yes..Young Drakes will eclipse their first year. Hens molt also.
