Dreaming of Chickens in Ridgefield, WA

Firstly,
welcome-byc.gif

Next- I presently have 2 babies sleeping in my lap with no coop to go to when they're ready. Getting them is what gives me the motivation to build a bigger coop! My 2 'grown ups' love their ark, but there's no way I can cram another 2 in there at night.
Check out the coop design pages, especially the pallet coop (that's what I intend to build) and pick something that works for your lot. Then get babies! THEN build the coop

BTW, I'm not too far from you guys if you need any help- I'm always willing to lend a hand to a neighbor!

We have purchased a chicken tractor! It should be delivered next weekend! It comes with an attached coop with nest boxes. My question is, where can we find the most information about how to best use it? We are getting 3 laying hens, and want to make sure we are thinking of everything we need. Is there a place on the forum where we can find this information?

Thanks! We're excited!

thanks guys! Under what section on the forum would be the most logical place to look for info on chicken tractors? We live on a small city lot, so we will not be able to more it far afield, but we will be able to move it around.
